Who to contact
GenTap is a Rascallop product. For privacy questions or requests to access, correct or delete information you have shared with us, email support@rascallop.com. This notice covers gentap.rascallop.com and the GenTap plugin.
Website visits
This static website has no account system, checkout, advertising, analytics scripts, tracking cookies, upload form or local-storage preferences. Its images, scripts and styles are served with the site. Viewing the examples does not send a request to PixelLab.
Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes request information such as IP addresses and browser details to deliver and protect the site. Its handling is described in the Cloudflare privacy policy. Following an external link takes you to a service with its own privacy terms.
Generation requests
When you start an operation with consent enabled, GenTap sends the prompts, images, animation frames, settings or resource identifiers needed for that operation directly to PixelLab using your API key. In Create Image, a copied picture is sent to PixelLab for description before the prompt-review dialog appears. Cancelling that dialog stops the subsequent image generation; it does not undo the description request. Guided features can also ask PixelLab to describe an input. These requests do not pass through a Rascallop generation server.
PixelLab handles those requests under its privacy policy and terms of service. Only submit material you are entitled to share with that service.
Data on your computer
Your API key is kept in protected local credential storage: Windows DPAPI on Windows and Keychain on macOS. It is not stored in ordinary Stream Deck action settings. Supported release platforms are listed on the Setup page.
Generated files are saved to your selected output folder. Optional YAML records can contain prompts, settings, input hashes and available seeds; they exclude API keys and source image bytes. Local diagnostics may contain operation details or file paths. Review records and logs before sharing them. You control the files you retain locally.
Provider-side characters or other saved resources may remain at PixelLab. Removing a local file does not delete a remote resource; use the relevant provider operation or contact PixelLab.
Support and purchases
If you contact support, we use your email address, message and any attachments to answer your request and troubleshoot the issue. We retain that correspondence while needed for the support request or associated legal obligations. Please do not send API keys or payment-card details. Contact us to request deletion of information you supplied to support.
When GenTap is released, purchases and downloads will be handled through Elgato Marketplace. This website does not collect payment details. Marketplace and its payment providers handle their own account and transaction data under their notices.
Your choices
To avoid sending creation inputs to PixelLab, leave consent disabled or do not start a run. Cancelling later cannot undo requests already sent. You can remove your stored API key using the plugin settings and delete saved local files. Rascallop can address information you sent to our support address; provider-held information must also be addressed with the relevant provider. Depending on applicable law, you may have additional privacy rights, including a right to complain to your data protection authority.
